Islam and Christianity - Two religions that want to dominate the world.

Islam and Christianity are two major religions that teach their adherents to dominate the world. But they differ drastically in their definition of “world domination” as well as the prescribed methodology of attaining that goal.  I will try to explain the differences below.
In Islam, world domination is a physical thing. They literally want the whole world to be ruled by Islamic principles. Islam prescribes laws on how a government, as well as a civil society, should operate. They do not see anything wrong with using force to attain this goal. In fact, this is clearly evident from the inception of Islam how it spread throughout the world by force. Muslims justify using violence as they believe that the goal (the whole world ruled by Islamic principles) justifies the methodology. This is why we see very little condemnation from Muslims when terrorist acts are committed in the name of Allah.
Another important thing to note is that if you are a Muslim and if you decide to leave your faith, Islam prescribes the death penalty for you. This is a classic example of a faith that leaves no freedom of choice.
In Christianity, on the other hand, world domination is not a physical thing, but rather, a spiritual thing. Christian ideology is subscribed purely for individuals, not for governments or civil societies.  Christianity wants the whole world to be under Christian principles, which simply means that every individual gets the eternal life Christ offers by receiving Him as their personal Savior as He died as substitute for all of us because of our sins. This Christian ideology seeks to make you a new person, spiritually speaking, and through the power of Christ you are able to live a life of overcoming sin. A life after death, with Christ, is also offered to whoever becomes a Christian. There is no penalty on this earth for a Christian if he decides to leave the Christian faith. You hardly ever see anyone get punished for leaving the Christian faith, in this life. Of course, in the past, in the dark ages, it was done, but anyone with an open mind can see that such actions are the exact opposite of what is prescribed in the source of Christianity, which is the New Testament and Jesus's life.
Also notice that Christianity never prescribes force or violence as a methodology to advance its goal. This is because of the basic belief that forced love is not real love. God’s desire is that all of us will become Christians, but He also gave us the freedom to choose. The beginning of Christianity is a classic example for this; for the first 300 years, Christians was considered to be the scum of the earth. Christianity had no support from any state or king until the Roman emperor Constantine converted to Christianity in AD 312. In fact, the Roman emperors were severely persecuting Christians for 300 years yet the movement grew exponentially.

So we can reasonably conclude that the rise of Islam in the world will have a negative impact for anyone who doesn’t want to be a Muslim. On the other hand, the rise of Christianity in the world will have a positive impact for everyone as Christianity do not subscribe conversion by force. Individuals will be reformed and thus the society will be reformed with great values such as tolerance. This is why we see so much mockery against Christianity, and yet we don't see a Christian blowing up a news organizations or movie theaters, etc.. And even if that were to ever happen, then you will also see Christians all over the world rising up against such acts and condemning them.
