Happy 250th Birthday to this incredible and amazing country, the USA! About 38 years ago, I had the opportunity to come to this country, and I must admit—it has been an incredible journey. Looking back, I am deeply grateful for the opportunities and blessings I have experienced here. From my own experience, I want to highlight two of the most remarkable things about the United States. 1. The freedom to worship This country gives every individual the genuine freedom to worship. Deep within their hearts, people recognize that they are created by God. The Bible reveals this God as a loving God who made a way for fallen humanity to be redeemed. Jesus Christ, His Son, came into this world and paid the penalty for our sins by dying on the cross. In His love, God offers this gift of salvation to everyone, yet He never forces anyone to accept it, because forced love is never true love.
